Administer account, tracking objects and devices

Open the Tuning tab in your Uboro account, here you can absolutely set everything.

What is an object being tracked?

We distinguish the concepts of objects being tracked and tracking device. I'll explain why it's convenient. An object being tracked is a person, a vehicle, a cargo. A tracking device is something that transmits a signal of its location. For example - an object is a car, and the device is a GPS tracker mounted on the car. So in case you need to replace the device on one car with another, now you can easily do it in the settings. So you save the previous history of your object movements no matter what tracking device it was with. You can also give the access to track your object to anyone you want. The function of “sharing” allows you to do this. This is convenient if for example your client is worried about where his/her cargo or car is. You give the access to the location of his/her particular object to him/her, while preserving the confidentiality of your other objects.

Add and configure any GPS device

So tracking device is any GPS gadget that send geolocation signal from an tracking object. You can connect any GPS tracker to Uboro. We also made a completely free application - a virtual tracker, you can use it as a tracking device. Customize any parameters associated with using your gadget, add or change sim cards, etc.

All your employees are here

Select Regular employee type if you want to add your staffs. Assign him a position, record all the data about the employee, so that it's easy to manage it in your account. Select the Guest type if you want to give someone temporary access to your account. For example, if your client wants to know where his/her cargo is.

Customize any events here

Absolutely, all settings for your events, geozones, any tags or categories of objects are configured in the relevant areas of the Tuning tab. You can also create a corporate account and divide your objects not only into groups, but also to companies! Just open Tuning and tap everything you see, you'll discover a lot.
